Pathways to Wellbeing Exhibition: Volunteer project

Pathways to Wellbeing Exhibition: Volunteer project

Calling all Holburne volunteers!

Over the coming months, Pathways groups and Holburne staff and volunteers will be making work for the Pathways to Wellbeing exhibition: 'The Shape of Care: Making Care Visible' (opening January 2026), responding in various ways to the theme of 'Care'.

This is your opportunity to get involved!

Textile printing with artist Barbara Disney

Over two consecutive workshops, we will be creating two large scale collaborative textile pieces to hang within the café glass wall.

As volunteers we know you care about and are interested in the museum's collection of objects and art works, and we witness daily the enthusiasm and time you give to visitors who want to know more.

Using different drawing and printmaking processes we will work together to build up images reflecting your experiences of spending time in the Holburne focusing on some of your favourite areas and objects within the museum.

All volunteers are invited to apply, both those experienced in artmaking, and those who have not drawn since school days. A love of the Holburne and sharing that enthusiasm is all that is needed!

Dates: Monday 15th September and Mon 29th September (sign up is for both sessions)

10.30am-2.00pm in the Gardener's Lodge

10 spaces available

Please book your FREE place to take part.

IMPORTANT:

Participants must commit to both workshops. Sessions are not stand alone; the second will be a continuation of the first. As places are limited, please think carefully and ensure that you can commit to both sessions before signing up!
